Volunteer Info

Thanks for your interest in volunteering! Here are some things to know before you go!

• Must be able to use regular garden equipment (non-motorized)

• Must be able to lift 30lbs on occasion

• Must be able to walk/hike a short distance on uneven ground to the planting sites

• Because transport to the island is by boat, must be a confident swimmer, and able to enter and exit the boat - there is a high probability your feet will get wet

• Garden gloves, bug spray, hat, water and waterproof shoes are highly recommended

• If you have volunteered your time at a previous planting, please allow the opportunity for new volunteers to join
